Facelift for our Porch

Over the spring and summer we gave the exterior of our home some badly needed attention. While Randy was busy replacing the siding on our house, I went to work on the front porch. This porch is a work in progress. We intend to replace the deck and extend it out a bit more in the future, but first we have to replenish our remodel account.
We painted the ceiling in Kelly Moore Cobblestone and the siding in Khaki Brown, which Kelly Moore had to color match for us. The trim are KM Cream White and Maroon. We hope you enjoy the the pictures below of the labor and finished product.

While Randy was busy wrapping the house, I was laboring away on the front porch. I am painting the ceiling the color, Cobblestone.
There was a lot of detail that went into painting the front porch and I was thinking the work would never end.

At one point, I fell off of this step stool and banged and bloodied myself up pretty good. --And that's why I don't go up high on ladders!
Here is the finished product. Randy and I really love to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine and take in the views and sunset. We are really enjoying our front porch now.
